Description

The Sales Consultant is responsible for generating new business through inbound and outbound sales, developing customer relationships, conducting needs analysis, and proposing tailored financial solutions. The role requires knowledge of products, regulatory compliance, and CRM systems, with a focus on meeting sales KPIs and delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships via telephone and manage first points of contact
• Conduct customer interviews and needs analysis to propose suitable products
• Sell customer propositions according to policies, procedures, and SLA targets
• Maintain CRM records, schedule callbacks, and ensure quality data capture
• Stay updated on internal policies, regulations, and product offerings
• Identify potential customers through referrals, leads, and recommendations

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 / SAQA Accredited Equivalent
• FAIS and Regulatory Exam 5 qualification (essential)
• 2–3 years of telephonic sales experience; experience in financial services is advantageous
• Strong customer engagement, needs analysis, and solution-selling skills
• Knowledge of CRM systems, operational compliance, and performance management
